    - Is this product actively developed ? I'm surprised it doesn't support Retina display !??
I do not think anyone at PO know what Retina means 🙄
    - Does the catalog cache generated to speed up display of thumbs, has an auto expire ? I hope not. I have a large image set and I don't want this generated regularly.
Thumbnail and preview image are generated and stored in the catalog.
    - Can I change the language to English ? It defaults to French my OS X language.
Language is automatically that of the system, if resource exists, and this is the case.
    To disable the resource:
Open the application package, in the Resources folder rename "French.lproj" (eg. French-lproj) or make an archive of it before put it in the trash.
    Then relaunch application.
Je sais, la traduction française est une horreur 👿
    - When I add a hierarchical keyword to an image, is this only catalog based, or does it really gets associated with the file itself, so it can be found by other apps ?
    - Can I associate any info to an image / folder that can then be indexed by Mac Spotlight ?
Yes, after synchronization from catalog to files.

I use latest Media Pro 1.5 on OS X El Captain.
From Media Pro:I did select a folder, then selected the images, then went to Action / Export annotations / Checked most of the boxes except 'include gps' and 'only create when unable to update embedded metadata'.

Waited for it to complete, then tried a search in spotlight.... but it won't point to the images.
Note that the drive where the image are psysically, is an external, non spotlight indexed drive. BUT Media PRO db is on the Macbook pro drive which is indexed. I was hoping spotlight could index the catalog of Media Pro. Can it ?
