    This is actually quite simple....
    1) export the original files from the MacBook with the "Include Adjustments" option selected.
    2) import the files on the iMac with the "Include Existing Adjustments" option selected

    This will allow you to select files for the export (or select all )
    and move the files to a new drive or folder during the import

    I usually use an external disk for this since it is easy to just connect the disk to the laptop and then connect it to the "home" computer.
