the basic support in phase one lingo means you have to check it off..... Cultural differences... and lost in translation.... I opened two support cases and now of course all is blamed on App Nap..... so check it off and move on.

Your answer is unfortunately not clear or you did not understand the point:

    therefore again:

for 7.1.5 the instruction from Phase One regarding App Nap was "disabling" by checking the "Prevent App Nap"-checkbox:

Mac OS X 10.9 (App Nap must be disabled). Knowledge base article
    http://www.phaseone.com/Search/Article. ... nguageid=1

but for 7.1.6. there is now a basic support for App NAP:

    Bug fixes
    • Basic support for App Nap on OS X10.9.

So does it mean that App NAP should be "enabled" by unchecking the "Prevent App Nap"-checkbox ? That was the question.

Yes, with CO 7.1.6 you can uncheck that box again. However, no harm is done leaving it checked as well.

We are still tweaking, but as the release note says, the basic support is there.
