Image artifacts
In some cases there are image artifacts when correcting white balance in C1 6. Version 5.2 doesn't have this problem. Image shows better:

Can anyone download the source cr2 file and check if this artifact appears on other PCs of Macs? It would be very interesting to know... 0 -
With your image, the same thing is happening with me as well with 6.0.1 (Win 7 64bit)
It does not do it with CS5 ACR 6.3
The WB is way off though, right at the 'end of the scale' in ACR so I assume C1 may be struggling with it??0 -
Hello,
I have a trial version of the latest release and tried it with your picture. What I see is almost exactly what you experienced with your pic. I guess color denoising is responsible for that. Back off to 0 and the problem is gone. But it should not be the case, of course. There is something wrong with denosing algorithm to my taste. Let's wait what others say to it.

This artifacts are result of current CO's Color Noise Reduction algorithms. It turns that White Ballance change NR behavior!
Default values seems too agressive, even so some color noise grains still present ☹️.
I noticed yet in this example, some teeths becomes redish by transition reds from lips when WB temp decreased.
Hope such useful examples will help PhaseOne developers to improve NR algoriths in next realeses.0
