Hi All

I'm probably trying to do something that EM2 was not designed for but I'm asking/trying anyway. Will EM2 allow me to create a record without media. IOW I have many photos that have not been scanned. For organization purposes I would like to enter some metadata before I scan the photos. Is this possible?

  LOL - I can't believe it, but I know the answer to this.
  I did the same thing years ago, with iMatch.....
  I don't remember exactly what I did, but I created a "proxy"
  it was a jpg, without any image.
  And then I attached the Who-what-when-where etc to it via IPTC.
  
  Oh. I remember. I used a script at the time to create the proxy.
  
  I can take one, empty it out of metadata, and send it to you... I don't see a way to attach anything here.
  
  Or, perhaps you can google something like: how to create a proxy jpg?
  or perhaps someone with more know-how will chime in.
