Snow Leopard: XMP files in the browser

Hi,
since using Snow Leopard, C1 4.8 (non Pro) shows the XMP files in the browser, which wasn't under Leopard. Where can I determine, what files are shown in the browser?

  Known issue, described here and in Phase One knowledgebase article. Full Snow Leopard compatibility pending and expected with next release.

  Try 4.8.3 with improved Snow Leopard compatibility.
