3.7pro to 5pro

I just acquired a (still) new licence for Capture One Pro 3.7 I believe this licence entitles one to two major upgrades. Can someone tell me if I can just activate Pro 5 with the licence code, or do I need to install and register version 3.7.9 Pro prior to that to make that possible?

    If it is a CO3Pro license it almost for sure will have to upgrades, which entitles you to activate CO5 Pro with it. I think you can use it for CO5 Pro directly, first time use. No need to install CO3 Pro first. It saves you an activation as well (which can be recovered though).
