Something is amiss here because the fact is you can get Dead-On desired color results from Capture One.

Start with checking your Color Management settings.
    >Be sure your monitor calibration file is correctly set
    >Camera Product and Profile are set automatically from meta data
    >Destination (Working Space ) check setting and be sure this desired setting is what you have set at the Process tab.
    >verify the embedded profile is correct in Photoshop

If all are in order and you still do not like th results of the 30D generic profile, then use the Color Editor to create a Custom profile from the generic that produces exactly the results you're after.

If images are light color, add some Saturation at the Exposure tab and apply to all images. You can also save as a .crv file to be reused on all Sessions.

When comaring color in Photoshop, be sure you have set the correct softproof profile used for Capture One.
Default is CMYK and you will see a great difference in color.
Best to compare Apples to Apples 😉

    Cheers,

On my computer/ in C1 CM-Settings are correct; the proof-profile in C1 and PS is the same [preset is a rgb-profile].
But colors and contrast in C1 and PS look different; in PS the pictures are less saturated and have less contrast as viewed in C1. Even when using 'simple' profiles like sRGB or photogamutRGB set as working space both in C1 and PS. This is somehing I can not correct with a modified camera-profile.
Something else to check or adjust to see the same results in PS as before in C1?
    [C1 Pro 3.7.4 + PS CS2]
    Thanks a lot.
    Best Regards.

What color profile are you outputting to from C1?

What are your color settings in PS? Do you have it converting to a different profile on opening in Photoshop? Turn on the "ask for mismatches". This will at least alert you if they don't match.
