Next Capture Adjustments

I'm shooting tethered with live view. Sometimes the capture adjustments move to the next capture. sometimes they don't. In next capture adjustments tool in the camera tab I have "copy from clipboard" selected in "other". in the clipboard I have the adjustments checked I want moved from the previous image to the next capture. This isn't happening. What am I missing here?

    Adjustments do not transfer to the next image captured if you're shooting jpg's, they do if you're shooting raw. Could this be the issue?
