Capture One 5.x seeing Canon 5D Mark II
I have a test version of Capture One 5.0 and will be using it with my 5D Mark II. The camera is seen by my computer ( Mac running 10.5.8 ) but the CO software is not seeing the camera. In the release papers this is written " For Canon 5D Mark II, 5D, 20D, 500D/Rebel T1i, 450D/Rebel XSi, 400D/Rebel XTi, and
350D/Rebel XT: Set the camera’s communication setting to PC connection or Normal to
enable remote capture. Do not use thePrint/PTP or PTP setting.
Canon says that the camera is automatic in this, a user can not change the setting.
Updates? Or is it because I am using the test version? I am testing it now because I want to use CO with the Canon tethered for Still Life, any help would be appreciated.

The text in the release notes regarding communication settings does indeed not apply to the 5D mkII. Back to the main question: why is Capture One not seeing your camera?
First check is in About Capture One, whether you use Capture One 5 Pro.0
