Dialog box with error
I have had Capture One 5 installed on 2 computers.
Today, when I tried to open the program on my laptop, I got a dialog box with the following error message--
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object., at P1.C1Components.SessionPersistency.SelectSession(Session s)".
Thinking that my installation had become corrupted. I deactivated the license for that computer and uninstalled the program, including cleaning up remaining registry items. When I re-installed the program and re-activated the license, I was hoping that the error message would be gone, but it is not.
What do I need to do to get rid of this message? Once I close the dialog box, the software seems to work okay, but it is annoying to keep getting the message.
Thanks for any help.

If you notice, in the error, the repeating term is "Session". This error means that when the software launches the Session itself cannot be read properly. The easiest way to resolve this is to quit the software and delete the session, a new session will be created when you relaunch. Also, you can hold down SHIFT when you launch the software and choose a new location to create a new session from which to work off of.
Deleting the session file is described in Step #5 of the following link;

Thanks much for the reply and solution.
Subsequent to my posting here and before I got your reply, I actually was able to resolve the issue myself. I'm not really sure what I did to resolve it. Nor do I know what I did to cause the problem. In any case, at least I know now how to resolve the issue should it occur in the future.
Thanks again.0
