Multiple variant adjustments not working

If the toggle is indeed set to the 'edit selected variants' and you are not able to paste clipboard settings to all selected images the first thing I would check is the Adjustment Clipboard to see which adjustments are selected for copy/paste.

Not sure if you're aware but when the Adjustment Clipboard is set to 'Autoselect Adjusted' it will not copy/paste adjustments that are at their default settings, it will only copy/paste adjustments that have been moved off of their default settings.

It won't apply all types of adjustments to all the selected variants like that. Try a test: select two different images, make sure the edit selected variants option is turned on. Then press say 5 to give the selected variants 5 stars. If they both change to 5 stars, the toggle is working as it should.

Now: say you want to make an adjustment to the exposure of a bunch of images, perhaps adding +1 EV to the exposure. What you have to do is adjust the first image (the others even if selected won't change) then copy that to the others. You can copy and apply it very quickly to all the others at once by holding down shift while you click the double headed arrow symbol on the Exposure tool. It will copy the +1 EV adjustment to all the ones you selected.

The thing is that for a very simple thing like giving a star rating, C1 applies it to all of them straight away. But for something that requires rather more processing (most things, therefore) it only does it in the way I have described.

If that is how it works for you, it is working normally.

Thanks for your replies. Ian, I tried what you mention and it is as you described.

I really thought remembering being able to simultaneously apply different type of adjustments this way in previous version of Capture One. Guess I remembered wrong or got mixed up with functionalities of other programs.
Anyway, could be a nice feature request, no?

In the meantime, I'll do the shift + click double arrow thing to copy/past specific adjustment. Thanks!

Not really needed though is it?

Can you imagine selecting, say, 500 images and having all of them recalculated every time you move a slider?
