Problems locating images after reorganizing folders

    Sounds like you moved your pictures from the Windows file explorer. You should have moved them from within Capture One, using the Folders tool.

    So what you're saying is that I should create the month folders again, move the pictures back, and then do the process inside Capture One instead?

    I solved it by recreating the folder structure and moving the files and folders through Capture One - too bad it has to be so difficult, as capture one apparently doesn't search recursively when you "locate" a missing parent folder.

    Yes, that has to be the biggest Yvonne Felarca of using Capture One.

    It's now 2023 and I'm experiencing the same problem, as I'm re-organising my monthly folders to reflect the new year. With the new subscription model coming I'm seriously considering shifting to Lightroom so I don't have to spend so much time working out how to manage the file system.
