Problem with curves in 3.7.1

After upgrading to 3.7.1, the curves function doesn't work properly on my Mac running OS 10.3.9. When an adjustment is attempted, the image will not always lighten or darken to reflect the change. If I make an extreme adjustment, then it will usually work. It seems to 'stick' on normal minor adjustments. I've tried trashing the preferences, and repairing permissions, with no luck. Anyone else have these problems? Levels work fine, but I can't bear to be stuck with levels.

Also, once I upgraded I'm having intermittant connection issues when shooting tethered with my Canon 1dsMk2. These issues may or may not be related to 3.7.1, but anyone else notice this? Thanks!

    I have this problem too! Sometimes the adjustement is reflected in the preview 1 minute later or so... (or if I make another adjustement)

    Please correct this.

    I think this has to be solved... Impossible to work with it.

    (Anyone has the previous version 3.7. ?)

    I hope that they make the Curve tool evolve along the lines of ACR in PS CS2, although there is also a lag as due to the complexity of the computations involved when a tonal adjustment is made.
