Date finder doesn't include all subnodes in parent node

I just imported an Expression Media catalog into Media Pro. I noticed that the date finder's subtotal for each node is missing some items from child nodes. See for a screen capture. In this image, for example, July only has a subtotal "1" but obviously the total of its individual days is much more (over 100).

I can't say for sure that this worked properly in Expression Media, but I never noticed the problem until now.

Any ideas about how I can fix this?

  I found a forum post indicating this was a known bug in Expression Media back in 2008: . Apparently it still hasn't been fixed. I'm hoping someone can provide a workaround, as the date finder is useless for me right now.

  I have the same problem....very little shows up in the date finder.
  How hard could this be? Every image I shoot has the date embedded in it!
  I've tried to work around it but gave up in frustration!
