Media Pro Crashes

My copy crashes only when I ask it to do two things at once. Thus, I open up the processing window (lower right), and when that shows activity - I keep my hands off the keyboard.

Likewise, the save function seems a bit flaky as well. When I do a save after a lot of work, including rebuilds, it sometimes looks like the program is lost. But if I wait a bit, it will come back just fine. If I point and click someplace while it is saving - down it goes.
Other than that, it seems to work just fine for my photos.
I am learning the art of patience.

Thank you for that. On reflection, I think that is what I have done that causes me the problems. Despite the claims - obviously Media Pro cannot do two things at once. Capture One can work in the background and the foreground - surely we could expect the same of Media One. Being a cynic, I suppose that when this problem is solved, there will be a hugely expensive upgrade to pay for.

Just downloaded the demo to see if I can replace Bridge and use this with Capture One.

    NOPE!!

So far, I'm trying to import files (from a large library of images) and this program has managed to blue screen my PC three times!!!!

Anyone know of any other alternative to managing images besides Adobe Bridge?

Have you tried the predecessor, Expression Media? It is still available at Phase One's Microsoft Expression Media archive page.
