Add a user sort default

Hi,
I would love to have a user default in the sort section. I sort by date for everything I shoot so my files stay in order if I am naming shots as I go. Is it possible to add this feature?

    When starting a new session under the View---Sort section it's default is always name. Every new session I start I have to go to that menu and change it to sort by date.
    I would love to have it stay on sort by date all the time unless I change it. Is that possible? I don't see where that I can set that as my default.

    That is right, that each new session has Name as default sort order. You could make a template session with the desired sort order and copy it each time, next, rename the session folder and session name. Not sure this still works with CO7 as it was common practice with CO6.

    To be honest that seems like so much more work. With the amount of freelance assistants I use, I could see that being a disaster. I know I can save a Workspace, do you think they could add that feature to that saved Workspace command?
    I want to add this suggestion to someone on the software end. Is that you or could you forward this to them?

    By the Way, so far C1 7 is working pretty good. Minor glitches in my workflow!
