Using C1 Pro with Nikon D100 DSLR

I'm having trouble using my Nikon D100 tethered to my MAC with C1 Pro software. Though I choose the camera on the pulldown menu, it is not recognized by the software. I'm using the PC to USB cord which came with the camera. Any tips or information on how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Only Phase One Digital Backs and Canon EOS DSLRs will tether directly into Capture One.
    Nikon DSLRs will most likely be the next brand implemented, but currently is not supported.
