    Apparently, choice has a downside. I use the default setting but don't recommend it (because I do not recommend my settings by default). 😉

    Instead I recommend you to do what you prefer. Sharpening has been revised in CO 4 & 5 and since CO 3, so I suggest you run some tests. You could also do a search here because it has been discussed here regularly and recently. And as you might have guessed, there is no recommended setting for sharpening. It serves so many purposes, different workflows and personal taste, the what's best discussion is ongoing.

    Nevertheless, enjoy CO 5!

    'It depends' is very true, but...

    If you were happy with v3 soft sharpen then you can keep using the equivalent.
