Upgrade from 3.06 PC to current Mac version

I would like to get my old PC workflow going on my Mac. I fight Aperture and found Capture One more versatile and easier for me to work with. i would like to revert to using Capture One in my workflow.

Is it possible to upgrade from the PC version to the Mac version? If so, how?

I have tried searching the forums but the search terms are "too common" so no luck.

This must be a topic already covered here, or at least the process is known to someone here.

your help would be appreciated.

    In general you can upgrade a Capture One (CO) 3 to 6 and in general a platform switch would not be a problem, certainly when you have a Pro license. If you have CO 3 LE, it might be stuck to either PC or Mac (PC in your case). I have seen some reports in the past but that might been solved. Note that current licenses are all cross-platform.

    Two options:
    1) You go to the Phase One web site and buy an upgrade. If your key is accepted, you should be fine.
    2) Create a support case on the Phase One site first to be sure
