I wrecked my tools

I am having a really bad, dumb day. I was working on an image in COP while I was describing the steps over the phone to a friend who is also a COP user. At one point I click on a tool (I wasn't watching where I clicked) and the exposure tool vanished. I was able to get it back, but now my tools have developed a psychosis and I am unable to restore them to the factory default configuration. Help!!!
