ERROR: application requires at least 128 MB RAM... HELP
I've been using CaptureOne Pro since March 2003.
I just built a new computer in order to process raw files faster. The system is as follows:
AMD Athlon 4800+
4Gb RAM
320Gb 16Mb buffer 2x in RAID 0 configuration
Windows XP Pro x64
I was able to re-install CaptureOne Pro and convert 1Ds Mark II files in less than 19 seconds. All worked well until yesterday when I keep on getting the following error message as CaptureOne loads.
I am obviously not short on RAM since I have 4Gb and run x64, giving me access to all 4Gb.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Is one of my preferences wrong?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

C1 Pro
Please note that the application requires at least 128 MB RAM for optimal performance.
With less memory performance will be degraded. Using 1394 with less than 96 MB RAM is NOT recommended.

I did not think that C1 was supported under Win 64 bit. I wonder if that is not your problem. Not sure why you were able to process for a while though. 0 -
It's perfectly okay. Just ignore the message. All of us on XP 64 edition with Capture One PRO get that. I have 8GB with on a dual opteron 248 system. No issues expect that message keeps poping up.
There is a XP 64 bit theard at : http://forum.phaseone.com/viewtopic.php ... highlight=

Thanks Rajib. I'll check out the x64 thread. However, after I get the message the system crashes after generating a few thumbnails... Any idea? 0 -
Well. After hours of reading, debugging, and testing, it appears that I have a faulty memory module -- it took over 1.5 hours for Windows Memory Diagnostic to find the perpetrator.
If you crash on CaptureOne only, check your RAM.0
