Forgive me if this is a previously hashed out issue, but I have been caught several times recently under exposing final images because of compensation being automatically applied on import. If the label and slider turned bright yellow, or a alert something like highlight/shadow warning button turning color it would be extremely helpful. Maybe I'm the only one? Have others found a way to alert themselves? Nothing catastrophic yet, but unsettling nonetheless.
Look forward to hearing what others do.
    Thanks,
    Dave

Are you using Auto-adjust during import?

No,not auto, but applying from previous capture usually works very well for our wide range of shooting conditions. Occasionally while shooting available light, an image will be under exposed (cloud e.g.) and some exposure will be added to expedite the discussion/process if it is accidently left in, future tests and even the final bracket may have the adjustment applied. In our work flow an alert would be great.

What about looking into using alternative defaults instead?

You have three or four people gathering around your computer eager to provide their input. The first blush import is a little dark, I add a little exposure to compensate, and forget to remove to adjustment. If I had time to create a new default for every room during a day of shooting 9 or 10 rooms, I probably would have time to check and double check layers of adjustment. Sure, there are ways to compensate, but an exposure compensation warning is not a good idea?

It is a nice idea, however, there are possible complications, were other users might find it distracting and further enable/disable functionality would further add to the overall complexity of the product.
I have noted your request, that's all we can do for now.
