Unable to delete TIFF files generated by 3.7.1 LE
I recently upgraded to v 3.7.1 from 3.7 With 1D MK2 files, when I generate jpeg files everything goes OK, but when TIFF files are generated, I'm able to open them with other software but when I try to delete/modify/overwrite them I got a windows message that the file is in use by another program/person /without specfying which one is using it
The TIFF files remain locked as soon as they are created by C1. No matter what I do, they remain locked. Even after rebooting the computer I'm still unable to delete them.
I'm running WXP MK2 on a 3 GHz machine with 1 GB of memory.
This problem didn't show up in v 3.7 However, I haven't processed 1D MK2 files until v 3.7.1
Any hints?

I had this happen when I installed the Microsoft RAW Image Viewer a month or so ago. Apparently there was a bug in the first version which could be overcome by unselecting \"Render thumbnails for Canon RAW TIF files\" on the options setup. Since then, they've released another version which resolves the issue.

Tank you, galen, for your answer that points right to the issue. I have the culprit installed in my computer.
I've just unselected the offending option on a RAW file's preview window (as stated in this Microsoft article) and the problem is gone!
