Tiger and C1 NG
I paid almost as much for Capture One as for my first full versin of Photoshop. Admittedly its market is much smaller, but on the other hand, it's purpose is extremely limited by comparison.
That said, I'm very disappointed that for months now the Tiger/C1 combination has proven painfully slow, so much so that it is much faster for me to open large folders of images on my old Powerbook (Panther) than on my dual 2Ghz G5 (Tiger). On my G5 with Tiger, C1 appears to gobble up most of the processing power available, dragging any other open applications to the same painfully slow state as C1, while taking almost 5 seconds to render each thumbnail! I feel like I'm back in the days of processor speeds measured in Mhz.
This problem has been mentioned by several people on this forum, yet it doesn't appear in your \"known issues\" post. Time goes by and I get no response from your technicians.
I'm fed up. In one stroke C1 has gone from one of my favorite apps to my most aggravating one. Am I alone? Is anyone working on this issue? Is there light at the end of the tunnel?

No problems here,!0.4.1 C1 Pro 3.7.1 runs well on my G4 powerbook but faster on my G5 ,
you should look at other similar programs they are even slower.

Phodographer: you are not alone.
PhaseOne is a strange company.
Beside what you rightly say about C1 and Tiger and the apparent lack of interest for this issue, there seems to be nobody (real persons, I mean) in their offices. Case in point: I wrote 3 emails to 3 different addresses to tell them that my C1 Pro payment of 500 USD (June 19) has not yet been processed in my Visa account. Nobody cared to react (except automated replies). It will be a month pretty soon and I think I should block that debit (if it ever shows up). I don't want to carry this unknown quantity forever.
