Looking for Capture One lens profile testers
One of the major disadvantages of Capture One is in my opinion the lag of an automatic lens correction function for DSLR cameras. That is the reason why I decided to create profiles for all of my fixed focal length lenses, correcting color cast, light falloff and distortion. While determining color cast and light falloff is not a big deal, working out distortion is not that easy. I am now looking for Capture Ones user who want to get my profiles and test them regarding their quality. I have profiles for the combination EOS 5D MK II (Canon Full Frame) + Zeiss Distagon 2/35; EF 50 1.4; EF 85 1.2 L II.
Interested? Just give me a short notice and I will send you the profiles.
Regards,
Joerg

On which method You have created profiles?
Is there a scientific basis? Or on the eye?0 -
Color cast and light falloff were determined using an LCC plate, which should be the best possible way to correct these issues. Distortion, however, was determined using sample photos from a specific building with lots of lines.

1) Where a procedure is described for the preparation and shooting of test shots (for LCC)?
2) And also interesting to see the Distortion depends on the distance to the subject?
I think it depends. If so then how can one universal way to fix the Distortion?0
