Hi, did you find any solutions to fix the problem?
I have the same issue to on my MBP + 10.12.6 + MediaPro 1.5.
Also the scripts like "select landscape" doesn't work. ☹️

No I did not find a solution but I did find which is the real plugins folder, and that is the one within the package containing the application. I keep both versions of Media pro. I haven’t actually tried To check it lately or get rid of old versions of the plugins folder, so i will try now and let you know how i go.

I just tried replacing the resources in MP2.2 within the app package and the following things happened

    1. Replace Headline from text lines (a script i wrote) worked except for an NYS exception error.

    2. Replace from head of selection failed (beach ball of death for about 60 seconds, maybe 90, maybe 120)

    3. Replace Headline from text lines worked again (no error)

    4. Description from text lines failed.

    Still unworkable I am afraid.

I could try to resolve aliases and errors from having 2 versions by zipping the 2.1 version, zapping it with app zapper and seeing how I go, then restoring if if that doesn’t help, but I really shouldn’t have to and don’t want to.

I found here was a 2.3.0.215 update and installed that, and it worked, all scripts OK. I then for good measure zapped (after zipping and backing up to an external drive) all previous versions. Still works. I hope that helps you.

I opened an support case and I got an answer:
"We did see an issue where in previous versions of Media Pro, if you renamed the application itself (say to "Media Pro 1.5"), scripts would stop working. Do any other scripts seem to work?
    ...
I am testing Media Pro SE 2.3, and I am getting a spinning beachball for a few minutes on my end when trying Select Landscape, but it results in a success. Is this what you receive as well?"

So i renamed the App to "Media Pro" – Bingo - it works!
