Have you got any local adjustments applied?

It appears, at least on my installation, that you can't do a B&W conversion after you have applied local adjustments (but you can do local adjustments after you have done a B&W conversion). I can't see any mention of this in the online user guide (but I haven't looked extensively so I may have missed it) so I don't know whether this is by design, a bug or just a problem with my installation.

    Wade.

    hello

of course I have switched on the check box.

But I will try the remark with the local adjustments.
I.e I am going to reset a raw file compete and try the b&w tool.

    regards.

I´m not able to verify this right now.l..but I think you can do B&W conversion after applying local adjustments, but it must be done to Background-layer ! Any other layer chosen won´t do...

Vesa is correct (twice): select the Background layer first and the order is indifferent: you can do any adjustment to the Background layer after you made adjustment layers. The trick is that once you start using the adjustment layer, you have to be aware in which layer you are in. Fortuantely, the Viewer has a layer indicator top left, where you can switch layers too! Note that this indicator is only visible when you have created a layer.

    Hello everybody,

after a little bit playing around I have found the following:
    1. B&W tool is working with the pictures in the session after starting C1-6(last session before shut down is active).
    2. if I change the session and try to use the b&w tool it sometimes does not work, but
    3. if I change back to the first session, which was opened right after the start(again last session before shut down C1)
the b&w tool does not work again (on the same pictures, where it was working before).
Now I close C1 and restart and.....
    surprise surprise...
    4. the b&w toll is working fine on the same picture where it has not worked before (see 3.)
    5. if if change the session (see 2.) and do 3. the "error" repeats and the s6m tool does not work at all.

Now I know how to handle that strange behaviour, bt for me it looks like a bug.

Ps: Ia am using WIN 7 64bit with NVIDIA GEFORCE 9800 GT

I am looking forward for your comments.
    Can you reproduce this behaviour?

    Regards from Germany
