Lens Correction with Express 7
According to the price and feature comparison here: http://www.phaseone.com/en/Imaging-Soft ... icing.aspx Capture One Express 7 contains Lens correction (but not Cast Correction), however on purchasing the upgrade from Express 6 to Express 7, I find to my disappointment that Lens Correction is nowhere to be found in the feature set. In fact, Vignette control has now been removed between 6 and 7!
Now I find that according to the online user guide, http://help.phaseone.com/en/CO7/Editing ... ction.aspx lens correction is a Pro-only feature.
This, therefore, means that there is a rather significant difference between the two sections of the website; a feature advertised as present in both Express and Pro is in fact only present in Pro.
I bought the upgrade in the understanding that Lens Correction would be present, so this is a problem for me.
Anybody able to comment on why lens correction is not present in the Express version when the website clearly advertises it as being there, and if it is there and I have just missed it, where do I find it?

You probably need to take this up directly with Phase.
As this is a user to user forum you will most likely only find opinion on the matter here. That may not be an efficient use of your time.

If it's a missing feature then you're right, this was partly a hope that someone will correct me by saying where it is hidden...
I shall take your advice and contact PO directly then...0 -

True. However I think the majority of people here use Pro (as I do) so you might wait a while before seeing a response. A case is likely to be quicker and more definitive.

The Lens Correction tool is part of the Express package and can normally be found on the "Composition" tab. If it is not there, you might be seeing a migration issue or some other bug. If you still cannot find it, please contact our technical support so they can help you recover the lost Lens Correction tool. 0 -

Thankyou!!! That's exactly what I was after!
May I suggest that the online user-guide is updated to mention this? Everything about lens correction on the userguide refers to the lens correction section, not the sub-section within Composition!
Thanks for the response!0
