How do I backup my personal settings ?
I would like to back up my personal settings : preferences, styles, presets, processing recipes and so on... (just trying to be ready in the event of a crash).
Does anyone know how to do that in Windows 7 Pro ? I couldn't find anything in the "user" folder, and it seems that the structure of CO 6 is different from the previous versions.
Thanks.

On Win7 your Capture One program settings (presets, styles and so on, not preferences ) are saved in folders below:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\CaptureOne
The Capture One preferences are saved in a file named USER.CONFIG which can be found in:
C:\Users\<user name\AppData\Local\Phase_One\CaptureOne.exe_Url_<#>\6.#
Each version of CO creates a new folder for the preference file with the build number in the ..\Phase_One folder.
Notes:
- You must make hidden folder show up in Explorer
- Locations and folder structure are identical for CO4, 5 and 6 (Styles and Presets have renamed folders with ..50 and ..60 suffix in CO5 and 6 respectively)0 -
Thanks for that. 😊 0
