dng converted images

I have reasently switched from Aperture to Capture One pro 8. So far I am happy with the software, but I have one major problem. I am an Leica M9 user, and have converted the Leica dng files Adobe dng converter. The converting have been from dng to dng. By doing this I have made Aperture aware of the shutterspeed and aperture in the pictures. Also I have removed the embedded preview from the dng. Aperture and other raw converting programs makes their own preview.

What I see now is that Capture one 8 have a pink/magneta color cast. The pictures that have been converted looks wrong because of the wrong color profile or bad color profile being used.

Is there a way to fix this? Anybody now of a profile for adobe dng converted files?

Please, this is a showstopper for me because of 20-30 thousand dng files alle converted...

    Converted DNG files get the DNG File Neutral profile. Maybe these are applied to your images. Try the Leica M9 Generic profile. You'll find it in the Base Characteristics tool on the Color tool tab.

    I hope you kept the original raw files.

    As you've found the koolaid that Adobe sells in the form of DNG is as often a problem as it is a solution.

    Afraid I haven´t kept the original since both Lightroom and Aperture reads the new file without a hitch. It is only when I use the files in capture one that I see the orange colors turning pink/magneta.

    If Phase one would make a profile for the adobe dng converter, then I guess all will be ok. If not, then I think I still am looking for a better program to use than Lightroom or Aperture. I thought I had found it...

    What happened to my suggestion of the ICC profile?

    No I have tried alot of different icc profiles, Leica M9 ..
    And yes It chooses the generic dng lcc profile, and the result is sometimes good. But If the image contains orange, then the orange changes to pink/magneta.

    I have tried to "convert" color back.. without any luck.

    If Aperture and Lightroom can correctly read the adobe dng converter generic file, then why shouldn´t C1pro?

    Let's say CO Pro gives optimal results from original raw files, including camera native DNG like from Leica M9. I can not comment on what happens during conversion and how that affects CO Pro. I do not have that kind of information or technical insight.

    You could open a support case if you like an answer from Phase One.
