annoying importer starts every time i connect a CF card.

Hello,

Is there anyway to prevent CO 5.1.1. from starting every time I connect a card on my MacPro?
I've disabled "Open importer when mounting media" (on and off, a few times) from preferences, but still no luck.
I'm running Snow Leopard 10.6.3.

Any suggestions?

  No application is checked in Image Importer and in Capture One .."open importer... " is NOT checked as well, yet, capture one still launches...

  What you could do it go to Image Capture (I assume that is what you meant as well with Image Importer), define another application to open after card/camera connect (Preview for example) and connect card/camera. If it still launches CO, it is defined else, if it launches Preview, reconfigure Image Capture that no application will launch.
  
  Alternatively, remove Image Capture's preference file.
