3.7.8 Release????
When is this new 3.7.8 version going to be released to the public? I believe it has been shipping with the new backs from what I have heard...is this true? And if yes, then when are we going to be able to download it? I know this has been talked about in previous posts, but this is unacceptable having to wait this long for a Leopard supported version....period. I know there is a work around, but it is not without problems and my Mark III 1D and Mark III 1Ds are still not supported after having these cameras for a bit now.

Ok, I guess I will have to reply to my own post. I know the beta version of 3.7.8 is shipping with the new backs and that they are having problems with the version, so what is the deal? I would appreciate an answer to when we should expect a stable working version of 3.7.8. I believe I have owned Leopard and my Mark III cameras for long enough that a version should have been out by now and know others that I talk to always agree with me and are feeling the same and I am not alone in this boat. @ 0 -
init so..
some sort of timescale must be possible..
"soon" is less than 3 months i think... phase one, stop frustrating your customers!!
do u know how buggy 3.7.8 is ? and is it poss to download elsewhere?0 -
I'm using 3.7.8 b since September that shipped with my P45+, I have found no known problems whatsover. However, it will not work with Leopard, so I'm staying on Tiger which is very stable until such time. I'm running Leopard at home on an Imac and this will be my bench test machine before I touch the towers at the studio. 0 -
That is nice to hear that you are having no issues with the beta version of 3.7.8. I am not sure if Mark III owners are aware that 3.7.8 when it eventually does hit will not support tethered shooting and will only support processing the files. 0
