green previews with D200
Hello,
I have a prob on a Mac Laptop 1,67ghz with 3.7.4.
I have shot a number of picutres with a d200 and they all appear green, if select as photographed in the white balance tool.
They show 4200 kelvin and -247 in the green. I am 1000 % sure i hot daylight as i looked at the pictures in Photo Mechanic with the client.
Am i doing something wrong. Those shot are going for a cover of a new client and i don't want to mess this job ...
This is quite urgent as deadline is this afternoon CET.
cheers
Denis

since it's quite urgent, there is no time for indeep troubleshooting...
In C1Pro, are you able to readjust the WB properly?
If yes, set 1 pictue to your liking and then apply these setting to the rest of the pictures.
Once you've meet the deadlines, y'ou'll have more time to test and see if it's a recuring thing.
it might be a 1 time glitch, might be a corrupted file, profile...
Good luck0 -
I just remember that sometime ago, using C1Pro 3.7.3, I had this kind of issue...
I was shooting with a P25 and then in the mail came a P45... the pictures coming from the P45 were OK but in C1Pro the Color Temp and Tint were way off.
I manually balanced the picts and after that it was OK... I never ran in this issue after that.0 -
here is an answer about that problem on PhotoMechanic Forum :

But because you likely have Photo Mechanic set to embed IPTC/XMP captions into your TIFF-based RAW files (NEF is a TIFF-based RAW file format) then Photo Mechanic altered the "TIFF table" to insert your caption into the file. This is undoable however, so I would first try using the "Revert TIFF-based RAW to original" tool on the Tools menu. Then I would change your IPTC/XMP preferences to use XMP sidecar files. Uncheck the "Add embedded IPTC" and "Add embedded IPTC4XMP" check boxes in the "When writing IPTC/XMP" section of the IPTC/XMP tab of the Preferences dialog. Your NEF files will no longer have embedded IPTC and/or XMP in them.
The Capture One LE folks will have to update their NEF parser to understand that the TIFF specification allows for the TIFF table to be relocated.
If this makes sense to people that could be a solution0 -
i posted that problem up on the camera bits forum, yeah that was the reply I got.
After you revert the RAW files to original, and back up the IPTC info in a sidecar file, the Capture One software will show the correct WB.
BUT, all the Jpegs converted from these Raws do not have any IPTC info at all, are they lost through the conversion?0
