Sandisk Extreme III C1LE license?

Hi everyone... I bought an Extreme III 2GB CF card recently and it was advertised as having a license for C1 LE included...

From the Sandisk site:

Q) I did not receive a Capture One LE installation disk when I purchased my Extreme III Compact Flash card. Where can I get the capture one software?

A) The Capture One LE software is only available through download from the Phase One website, www.phaseone.com.
Use the product key that came with your Extreme III CompactFlash card to activate the Capture One software.

The only key I can see that looks vaguely correct is in the format is:

abcdef-1234-12345-12345-12345

Is that going to work with 3.7.4 LE?

With all the hassle about activations and registration I have read about on here, I'm a little apprehensive with experimenting before I know if it'll work, in case I stuff it up and waste the activation and can't get it back.

    Anyone able to help on this please? I'd love to try 3.7.4 but I'm not sure if the key I have from my Sandisk card will work...

    Additionally, if I waited for 4.0, would the key work for that?

    No, this is not a valid Product Key from Phase One.

    You will have to contact SanDisk on this issue.

    Go ahead and give 3.7.4 a try.
    LE downloads as a 15 Day Trial and PRO for 30 Day Trial

    Thanks for the response.... I'm aware the code I posted isn't a valid key, I just want to know if it's in the correct format? (5*Alpha, 4*number, 5*number, 5*number, 5*number)

    Will a valid key from a Sandisk Extreme 3 purchase work on current (or future) C1 Pro LE versions?

    Sandisk have a FAQ on their site explaining that the key included with the card will work on a downloaded copy from your website, but make no mention of the versions applicable...

    Phase One Product Keys are 4 x 4 Alpha Numeric Characters

    i.e 1ACR-2H4T-4N6G-5MG9

    Obtain a Valid Key and you can activate the Program LE.

    Contact SanDisk.
