Has Mac OS 10.6.4 resolved this issue ->

Unfortunately I had to replace my Mother Board and my new System Serial Number has 13 characters instead of the usual 12 which makes C1 Pro 5 crash immediately when using 10.6.3.

I thought that Apple had fixed the serial number issue with v1.1 of 10.6.3. Maybe I am in error? 0 -
Apple indicates in the release notes for 10.6.4 that it should now be resolved. If for some reason it does not restore your correct serial number, any apple service center can restore it for you. 0 -
Anyone noticed any problems with 10.6.4 & C1 5.1.2
Boards have been rather quite, so I figure things are probably ok?

I'm curious about this as well. I just set up a brand new system, running 10.6.4, and I'm having some serious issues shooting tethered with the 5D MkII. I saw in the release notes that there is a problem with tethered capture hanging, up to 2 minutes, with certain hardware configurations. That pretty much describes the problem I've been having. I reopened my support case for this problem that has plagued me through at least 3 machines and possibly 5 different boot drive/OS configurations. The latest response was that this is a compatibility problem between the Canon drivers and Snow Leopard. Is anyone else dealing with this problem? Has anyone discovered a solution or work around? 0 -
