Sliders not working, color ratings don't hold, Mac Capitan

I created a case with Phase One tech support but haven't received a reply yet. Just upgraded from CO8 Pro to CO9 (Sony version) and NONE of the sliders mover, I can't input slider values nor does any color ratings hold...and I'm sure more issues. I've done the obvious to reboot the computer but nope, nada. Anyone else experiencing this? I have a love/hate relationship with CO. It seems like every upgrade (and I've been using the program a LONG time) is anything but smooth.

    Metadata not sticking seems common.

    I hadn't read anything about frozen sliders, though. I don't have it.
