To start with the SessionPersistency error. Can you confirm you are on WinXP /w SP3; you have installed .NET Framework from 2 up to 3.5 SP1; you have CO 5.2.1?

After reinstallation of XP, you probably restored the Capture One Library folder to your Pictures folder, including the old Capture One.col50 file in that folder. This is the session file. Close CO5, move the session file it to a different location and start CO5 again. CO5 will create a new session file.

Just checked and can confirm that .NET 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5 are on my PC.
Can you tell me where the library folder is located? Is doesn't show up
in the folder tree for C1-5.

Check for .NET 3.5 SP1 to be sure.

In your default Pictures folder you should find the Capture One Library folder:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\My Documents\My Pictures\Capture One Library

I had the same problem with C1-6 and it was due
to not having 3.5 SP1(even though I did have 3.5).
All credit goes to you, Paul, since you mentioned
the importance of SP1 to another poster with the
    same problem.

Bottom line is C1-6 is ready to rock and lookin' good.
I gotta say that I'm one happy camper.
