Error moving (deleting) file

I saw this recently with CO 4.8 as well on Win XP when I ran some tests (I work on Mac most of the time). It is a known issue which I reported in the CO 4.6 days. I haven't see it much since 4.7. I suggest as a workaround to do the following when deleting files.

Delete files, not delete permanently. File will move to Trash folder. Next, from the File menu, choose Empty Trash Folder. Hope this helps.

Paul - thanks for the reply.. What do you mean "delete files, not permantly delete"???

I'm just pressing the delete key which is sending them to the trash folder.

See the File menu with the corresponding shortcut keys. Apparently you were already doing Delete, not Delete Permanently which is bypassing the Trash folder. Additional tip: let CO4 do what it needs to do when opening a folder for example. This may minimize the occurrence of the error. Nevertheless, if it persists, open a support case with Phase One. Good luck.

Paul- Thought I was doing the right thing!! I also let it run through and generate the previews as well, I've just uninstalled AGAIN and trying an older version.
Its just started happening, I will have to raise a support case if it carries on....
