Importing from a Folder

I use the process recipe function to send images through to other applications for processing. I created a folder and entered it in the Format Window under Output Naming. I export the image from the other application to this folder. In the location window under "Import From" I bring up the folder. This brings up blank images i.e. just a dotted line around the perimeter with the file # underneath. What do I need to do to get the images? Thanks, jp

    What format(psd,tiff) are the files that are coming back from the other application? Are the images layered?

    Tiffs coming back from silver efex pro, Rick. To the best of my knowledge these aren't layered. I have recently switched from an old to a new mac. The problem has started with the new mac, so it is something I have done. I didn't migrate CO7 - I downloaded from Phase One. Cheer, jp
