I for one am happy that the battery gas gage has been fixed and that the orange progress bar now works at least with the D800. What else works better?

  I have been using the Viewer and, in version 8, it was only possible to pick one color when using the Viewer version of the Color Editor. I submitted a bug report and was told that they knew about the problem. That is now fixed in version 9.

  In v8, there was a faulty behavior with 'Reset Adjustments' from the image browser bar's popup menu. (Worked fine from main menu and keyboard shortcut.) The actual state of 'Edit all Variants' was ignored. Fixed in v9.
  
  Hoping for the same fix on 'Move to Trash' soon.

  Another one:
  
  When trying to use the brush to erase a part of a mask on an offline image, there is a popup that that automask cannot be used on offline images. In v8, the popup switched off the automask option of the painter instead of the eraser. Fixed in v9.
