Can't switch from DB to Pro
When I open capture one 8 I don't get a dialog box asking which version I want to use.
I just purchased to pro license and I want to switch to pro from db
I go to the license drop down menu in the program and it says I have to quit the software. Then I do that and its all still DB not Pro.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

Quit
Rename the app in finder (e.g "Capture One" > "Capture One 8 Pro")
Relaunch
Activation/choose run mode should now work.
This simple trick breaks the licence file's status with the linked application name and should allow you to choose a new run mode.0 -

Renaming the app in the finder did the trick. Thats such a weird problem!

A tick in box somewhere got corrupted some how. It happens.
