Managing Catalog Backups
I've been using C1 for a bit more then a year. I checked the Catalog Backup folder and it's starting to get fairly large. Prior to using C1, I used LR. I would periodically cull the LR backup folders leaving only the 4 latest backups to conserve space on my HD (LR did NOT store a duplicate of the image in the backup folder, LR stored only a reference to where image was stored). So my question is can I do the same culling of older backups in C1? i.e. leaving only the four latest backup folders and deleting ALL the earlier backup folders?
The reason I ask is that when I look at the C1 Catalog backup folders they appear to have a duplicate image file in the backup folder. I already have 3 backups of my image folders so I don't need the image backed up in the Catalog backup - is there a way to tell C1 not to backup the image and just reference its location when backing up? I've been unable to locate info on how C1 backs up the Catalog and how users should manage the backups as over time these folder get huge. If you can point me a place where I can get this info I'd appreciate it as up to this point I've come up with nothing.

Found my problem, I had inadvertently checked "Enable Backup" in the Import dialog box. 0
