Keyboard shortcut for external editor (PS)
In version 11, we could assign a keyboard shortcut for "edit in", however with the new plugin feature, it looks as if this shortcut is gone. Any chance I missed something?
Also - as much as I love the quality (and especially tether speed) of C1, round-trips to photoshop are not as good as in lightroom.
First - when opening an image in photoshop, lightroom does not create a psd, but just "hands it over", and only registers a new psd once it was saved in photoshop. This makes sense if you open files not to edit, but to copy parts and create composites, and then close them without saving.
Second - it would be so much easier to have 1 (one!) function for round-trips, instead of "edit in" and "open with". I do understand there is a difference, but I'd much prefer how lightroom sends a raw file directly to ps, but asks if you'd like to edit an existing image or a duplicate for non-raw images. Why is this important? If you select several images at the same time, you always have to be far more careful which images you selected, some can work with "edit in", others with "open with" (assuming I open some already "edited" images together with "new" raw images).
I'd appreciate if there is a smart solutions or please let me know if I missed something. Cheers!

Given that LightRoom and Photoshop come from the same developer and at outset LR seemed to derive a lot of functionality from PS, it is perhaps a surprise that they do not work more closely together than you describe!
