Workflow problem

I decided to go with the workflow of editing my raw (.nef & .dng) images in C1v5 and then saving as jpegs, and then captioning, keywording etc. in Lightroom. However I have found that certain images (notably snow scenes) look grossly overexposed in Lightroom despite looking perfect in C1v5. Is any one else having problems? Has anybody got any solutions before I make this a support question?

    I am sorry, and I may be being particularly stupid here, but I cannot see the relevance as I cannot set the output/input on either C1v5 or LR as far as I can see. If I am wrong maybe you could advise me how to do it.
