Slightly. Still miles away from 3.7x. Preview redraw (lag) distracts.
Improved performance
The always on top Viewer is completely useless now. Preferred to toggle main window and viewer with ALT+TAB... though even this was just a workaround.
No RGB chanels, no... okay, boring.

4.6.2789 installed successfully & is reading my Nikon D3x files beautifully, great news.
Not sure what level of tethered control 4.6 is supposed to offer, it recognises & will trigger my D3 & transfer the files perfectly, but offers no camera controls or information. It does not as yet recognise my D3x - presumably this will be corrected in the next update, but check your hardware combination before you take it out on a shoot in the meantime!!!
Agreed Thomas, the lack of background preview redraw is infuriating & unnecessary.
Also I don't understand the reason for 'Session Favourites' under the Library Tab, it doesn't work with my workflow (I prefer to work with my own System Folders thank you) & the Favourites listing clogs up my Library tag & it appears to be non-removable. Odd given the customisability (great) of the other tabs.......

Session favorites is something that was much used an much loved in Capture One 3 for Mac.
Basically possibilities to have shortcuts to many folders under one session for fast switching of folders during a shoot.0 -
😄
thanks....I am happy with the new version. As I was of all earlier ones too..now I can convert my 5D MkII Raw files with my prefered C1.
I installed it just some hours before with no problems on my computer.
best regards

no Pentax K-m support... 0 -
Still no option to have a centralised cache as in 3.7?
This is the one thing really putting me off upgrading from 3.7LE (and I would even be prepared to go for the release 4 PRO version if only that had the option).
Eventually I will no doubt get a new camera which is not supported by 3.7 and will have to look elsewhere.0 -
No live view in windows? 0 -
When do you thing it will be possible to work tethered with the 5D MKII?

Maybe you can be a bit more specific. Like: Do you have the Capture tool tab (camera icon)? If yes, does it have the Camera tool all grayed out?0 -
No I don't have the (camera Icon).
I uninstall 4.6 and the librarys delete all the folder, also show hidden files to make sure it was all deleted, reinstalled it and still nothing, man am i bumb out waited so long for this.
I just bought a new computor just for this, Vista 64, all the other programs work, BB, LW, Camera Pro 2 also works fine,0 -
I think for some reason I have Capture One. Shouldn't say Capture one Pro? 0 -

Do you have multiple licenses perhaps or only Pro? I suggest to deactivate and activate again with your Pro key. Note that in the Help menu, License Information you can see the status of the current installation. FYI, regular and Pro (and DB) are all the same download, it is the key that makes the difference.
If this does not help, best to open a support case with Phase One. They can solve this quickly for you.0 -

Am I the only one whose first workflow step is to download only the keeper images from the memory card? C1 insists on writing the cache to the memory card, which doesn't have space for it. I find it infuriating that the centralized cache feature has been removed from so-called "upgrades." This has made C1 useless for me.

Is there any way (or any plans to implement this feature) to apply CA (chromatic aberration) analysis/correction to a group of (selected) images at once ? It seems that you can do this only one-by-one, unlike auto WB for example where you can select several images and {shift}-click "A" button. 0 -

The tethered driver does not support the 64-bit version of Windows.0 -
The lack of a centralized cache is killing the performance for me as well. 3.7 was soooo much faster at switching from one directory to another. I am trying to figure out a way to modify my workflow to get around this issue, but so far it is very frustrating. 0
