Warts on my friend P1C1
To those at PhaseOne who want to know these things:
I've always wondered why the program did some things, and so I'll just mention them here.
I'm running C1 6.2.2 64-bit on Windows Vista.
1) When the tools are floating in sets, like on a secondary monitor, if I minimize the main window, say to work in Photoshop, the tool bars / pallets don't also minimize. So the window hides itself, but the tool bars stay up. Undocked tool pallets should minimize and restore properly, along with the main window.
2) When switching from viewing multiple images to viewing only one, very often I have to click NO picture, wait for everything to redraw, and only then select the picture I want to view next. Very weird.
3) The activities and processing queue need better management tools. Canceling a job should stop processing, and as it stands now what it really does it just put the job on hold. Sometimes it is desireable to cancel a long-running process on many files, like a final processing run after the initial adjustments are made.
4) The activities window should function like the other palettes and be able to be docked.
Other than that, it works great, and I really like it. I've used a bunch of other ones, but settled on C1. It just works the way I want to work...except for the above. 😉
Thanks for reading!
