Open CL upgrade ??

I have a pretty new pc, Intel i7 920, with 8G RAM, and an ATI Radon HT 5700 series graphics card with 1G.
The driver I have installed does not support Open CL.

I have installed CO 6 Express, and so far most everything seems to be working well. The link to Expression Media is broken. I can't use 2 monitors (with commands on the 2nd). Skin WB is also missing, as others have reported. But the overall performance of CO 6 X seems pretty good. I like the new features!

I hate to mess with a working system !!

The latest ATI driver is supposed to support my card with Open CL.
So, my question -- If I download and install it, will CO recognize I now have the right drivers?
Or do I need to reinstall CO 6?
And if I do that, do I use up one of my installs?

Any thoughts?
Is anyone else running Open CL on this card?

    I would install the latest driver first and see what happens.
    Then if there are still problems you can do a clean install of v6.
    I did one and I did not need to re-activate.

    It is in the White Balance tool, second tab Skin Tone (Pro/DB).

    I have the Express version. The 2nd tab is there along with a list of skin tones - but no eyedropper.

    I think the skin tone WB stuff in express is a 'bug' the tab is there, but no functionality.

    Agree (about the bug) Not fully hidden in Express on Windows as it is on Mac.

    Well, I just went ahead and did this.
    New drivers installed - and they are supposed to be capable of Open CL.
    No change in CO6 capability

    I uninstalled CO 6 X via windows.
    I reinstalled the CO 6 X; it did not ask me for my key.

    BUT - Open CL is still not an option.

    Any ideas anyone.

    It is now working.
    I had to install the latest Catalyst 10.11 which had the all the drivers in it, including the Open CL driver.
    Everything is now working fine.
    BTW - interesting display upon startup.
