Tools in dual monitor mode are grayed out
This is a small usage issue that may be a consequence of the way I customized my dual monitor workspace. I have the editing tool tabs in the viewer and the metadata and asset management tools in the browser. The event described below does not occur with the default settings.
When opening a catalog and selecting my custom dual monitor workspace, all of the adjustments for any selected variant remain unavailable (blank graphs and grayed out adjustments) in the viewer until one of the tool tabs is selected. Then, the adjustments are shown and the sliders become available I have tested this on a couple of different catalogs. Of note, I did not see this in OS 10.11.
You can also select any other workspace and the reselect your custom dual monitor workspace and the problem will resolve, but just clicking on a tool tab is much easier.
It was confusing because one of the tool tabs in my viewer is orange after selecting the custom dual monitor workspace. It, therefore, appears to be active and so looks to be a malfunction. In fact, clicking on the tool tab in orange (or any tool tab), makes the adjustments visible and the tools available.
I am not sure this needs to be fixed, so much as the user needs to be aware of how to make the adjustments visible.

I should note that I am running Capture One 11 on MacOS 10.13.4.
My bottom line point was that if no adjustments can be seen and are grayed out, selecting any tool tab will fix this. Support is looking at my custom dual monitor workspace configuration to try to explain the phenomenon.0
