Corrupted NEFs
I am still getting acclimated to shooting tethered with the D2X and C1. A few times I have gotten thumbs which looking like pastel pointalistic paintings. They process this way, too. If I take another exposure, the image comes in fine. Is this a D2x issue? A C1 issue? Or a D2X with C1 issue? I remember getting some bizarre file renditions with C1 and the H20 back as well...[/img]

Lynnette,
Sounds like a White Balance issue most likely. Remember, the D2x Custom and Auto WB settings data is encrypted and cannot be read by Capture One. This will change in future updates since Nikon has now made files available. The software makes a best guess attempt at the as-shot WB sometimes doing well, OK, or poor. It is better to choose one of the in-camera presets for consistent WB results.

Lynette,
check your white balance situation as Keith suggested. If there still is a problem, please create a support case on www.phaseone.com
and upload the \"corrupted\" NEF files, so we can take a look at them. indicate if you are looking at these files in the Nikon Capture software as well. Also please indicate what version of the software you are using.
thank you.0
